Gender Expansive Resources
Volunteers and advocates have worked countless hours to find, create, and develop the resources available today. Of those listed below, two include information for a wide range of inquires, and two are active local non-profit organizations in Pocatello, Id.
Trans affirm is a nonprofit organization primarily located in Twin Falls that has curated a comprehensive website with information about mental health providers, surgeons, HRT providers, grant opportunities, clothing, food and shelter resources from Boise to Idaho Falls as well as some areas in North Idaho.
The Gender Resource Guide is a living document containing information for name and gender marker changes, health care, mental health, affirming services, clubs and organizations, family and youth resources, as well as videos, reading, and crisis support in South East Idaho with a primary focus in the Pocatello area.
Queer Club Idaho hosts several community-oriented events throughout the year. They have a lifeline fund to help those in need afford the cost of gender affirming healthcare.
The Closet is Southeast Idaho’s first LGBTQIA+ oriented clothing exchange offering a safe space for people to explore their style. Open Thursdays from 6-8 PM.
